JAMS' Commitment to Pro Bono Work

JAMS’ mission is to provide the highest-quality dispute resolution services to our clients and to our local, national and global communities. Our commitment and dedication are evidenced by our extensive pro bono work. Every year, our panel of distinguished neutrals contributes hundreds of hours of alternative dispute resolution sessions. JAMS understands the importance of providing aid to those in need and supports various pro bono efforts and programs. We are invested in doing good, especially for the public good.

JAMS' Commitment to Giving Back to the Community

The JAMS Society was created in 2001 to recognize and support volunteer opportunities and community involvement for JAMS associates at a local, “hands-on” level. All associates are encouraged to become members of their local society to collaborate on outreach programs or work individually on projects of their choosing. JAMS Society members around the country participate in a diverse array of volunteer activities, ranging from cleaning up the environment to improving the lives of children and seniors. 

Whether through charity, leadership, or camaraderie, the collective groups that comprise JAMS Society represent the very core of our mission, vision, and values.

Living Out Our Core Value – “We Have a Heart!” We embrace the importance of giving back and the positive changes we can make when we unify our practices! Here are just a few ways JAMS associates recently gave back to our communities:

• Provided support to hospitals dedicated to pediatric care
• Participated in holiday giving and housing programs
• Volunteered at local food banks
• Supported meal programs
• Collected canned food, clothing and toys for those in need
• Fundraised for several charitable causes, including those related to mental health, cancer and natural disasters

JAMS' Commitment to Sustainability

At JAMS, we recognize the importance of an environmentally conscious workplace. We are committed to improving our sustainability through our green initiatives, led byJAMS Green Team captains at each Resolution Center and our virtual ADR teams. If everyone who uses JAMS facilities takes part in our green initiatives, such as using reusable water bottles and eco-friendly single-use items, recycling, and properly disposing of e-waste, we can help preserve and protect the environment.
