Both Brady Hiestand and Da’Mon Blackshear are set for their fourth UFC bout as they clash atUFC Vegas 78 event.

Marcel Dorff of Eurosport NL reports this bantamweight bout will take place at UFC event on August 12, 2023. The event is set to take place at UFC Apex Arena in Las Vegas, NV.

Brady Hiestand is currently 2-1 in UFC. He debuted in UFC in the final of the bantamweight tournament of The Ultimate Fighter Season 29. He lost that bout to Ricky Turcios at UFC Fight Night on August 28, 2022. Hiestand was inactive for the next one year before he was signed by UFC. He has since defeated Fernie Garcia and Batgerel Danaa.

Da’Mon Blackshear, former CFFC Bantamweight Champion, started his UFC journey with a draw in August 2022. He then lost to Farid Basharat atUFC 285 in his second UFC bout before getting a win over Luan Lacerda at UFC Vegas 74 via second-round knockout. This will be Blackshear’s third bout in the space of 6 months.

UFC Vegas 78 is set to be headlined by a Brazilian welterweight clash between Vincente Luque and Rafael Dos Anjos.Khalil Rountree Jr. vs Chris Daukaus is the other confirmed bout.Montserrat Conejo Ruiz vs Jaqueline Amorim andJosh Fremd vs Jamie Pickett are some of the other announced bouts for the show.
