The Israeli Institute for Hebrew Literature invites early-career translators to apply for the
third Hebrew Literature Translators’ Residency, which will take place from June 22 to July 4,
2025 (26 Sivan – 8 Tamuz, 5785) at Kibbutz Eilon. The residency is open to translatorsfrom Hebrew into English, Italian, German, Greek, Spanish, French, and Czech who are at the beginning of their careers and are committed to deepening their skills and expertise in literary translation.

Participants will stay at the Keshet Eilon Guest Houses alongside experienced translators working in the same languages. They will take part in a diverse and vibrant program featuring workshops and lectures, in addition to time for both individual and collaborative work. Selected applicants must commit to full participation in all program activities.

Application Requirements:
Applicants must submit the following:
– A CV in Hebrew, including a detailed description of their experience in translating literature or poetry from Hebrew.
– A translated text (approximately 1,200 words for prose or between 7-10 translated poems), along with the original Hebrew text.
