Today we are showing you a couple more sketches our artist made and taking a deeper look into game design.
This is a big modular piece that can vary regarding its connections from other modular pieces.
Here is the same piece with detailed skecthes over it, also an added door and other connection elements.
The very complex enviroment present in all space stations is hard to replicate but our artist is doing a great job at it.
Now to show some of the game design work.
Below we can see an early spec sheet with all the caracterictics of the game and it's elements, it's missing some promo art or gameplay screenshot as well as some other elements that could make it look better.
Here is the expected target audience we should have playing our game.
We chose the designed age group after market research for it representing a high amount of player numbers available with a higher chance of giving indie games a try and not being too confined to the same highly played games on the market like the younger generation (>25) .
Our game will be a quick horror experience of around 30 mins to 1 hour (taking into account players not winning on the first try) therefore a low spare time would be enough to experience it.
The platform we opted form was PC not because we wanted to, but because we had to, our research showed us that a console platform for our players would be way more popular but given it’s difficulty in terms of cost, development optimization and licensing we had to choose PC.
