Classic in Nags career

Path Breaking movie ,Nag performance and RGV's direction were the highlights. All songs are heart touching. never before climax in Telugu movies till then. Urmila looks natural. BGM simply superb. best in 90's and made a way for many such movies.u don't get the feeling you are watching a movie, u just feel like its happening in front of us in real.later RGV made Satya movie with almost the same script which was super hit. ANTHAM movies many scenes and dialogs were seen in many movies .ex in POKIRI interval scene which heroin speaks to hero. overall ANTHAM movie is a classic in Telugu film industry. For me guys who are bored with routine Telugu movies must watch it

A violent but nicely done love story

The Casting is great, Screenplay is superb.

Camera work is wonderful as an usual Ram Gopal Varma flick.

Dialogues are very effective.

If you have liked Company or Sarkar of Varma, you will definitely love it.

R D Burman's music is fresh and melodious.

A fresh Urmila Matondkar in her hay days (pre rangeela days) looks great

Nagarjuna's experiment to do the semi-negative role proves worthwhile.

Overall an impressive piece of work altogether.
