Trivia

Their Purple Moment

The troupe of midgets hired for a deleted scene in the film came from the Al G. Barnes Circus, which was wintering in Los Angeles, at the time. They were paid $50 a day.
A rare instance of Stan not using his real name for his character although Ollie does.
The old man pictured in the portrait was actor Frederick Sullivan whose portrait also appeared in The Laurel and Hardy Murder Case.
Stan and Ollie go into a club for a meal and meet a couple of ladies who have been abandoned by their dates and left with the bill. Ollie takes care of the bill and orders meals for himself and Stan and new meals for the ladies. Having just had meals why would the ladies want another one.
The gag where the waiter falls on to the pie 3 times has later been used in That's My Wife and was replaced by Sam Lufkin.
