E3 2006: Grand Theft Auto IV Announced
GTA IV is coming to Xbox 360 in October 2007. First details.
That's right. Grand Theft Auto IV is coming to Xbox 360 on October 16, 2007. The game will ship on October 19, 2007 in Europe. For all those folks who thought Xbox 360 woudl only get Table Tennis, well,GTA IV is coming to Xbox 360 -- and it will be available on the first day the game ships -- unlike previous GTA games that were delayed on Xbox six months or even years after the first PS2 versions. Apparently, Microsoft has now gained first-class status withRockstar Games.
Rockstar plans to use Xbox Live Marketplace to enable gamers to download episodic content in the future, though no further specifics were given.
