The IAEA provides guidance and assistance materials to States to help them prepare their safeguards declarations. These are designed for State and regional authorities, as well as for facility operators. Materials includeguidance documents,forms and templates, andother related documents. The Agency also offerssoftware tools to assist States with the preparation of related declarations.

Online training resources are available onNUCLEUS. These trainings include an introductory course on Safeguards (Basics of Safeguards), as well as tutorials on nuclear material accounting and reporting.
