How-To Geek was on the ground at IFA 2025, getting hands on the latest technology. Not sure what IFA is? The Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin is an event held every year in Germany. Since it started in 1924, it's become Europe's biggest tech show, attended by many big brands and hundreds of thousands of visitors. While there was a lot to choose from, these were gadgets that we think stood out as the best of IFA this year.

Joe Fedewa, our Editor for Android and Hobbies, published his 1,300th article on How-To Geek this month! Joe’s first article on was published on the website five years ago, in August 2020. It’s been an amazing run all the way to 1,300 and we’re looking forward to many more milestones ahead.

How-To Geek’s Editor,Andrew Heinzman,and Editorial Director of Reviews,Justin Duino, were in Berlin, Germany, to be some of the first to go hands-on and test new CPUs from Intel and Qualcomm, laptops from Lenovo, Samsung, and Asus, and so much more.

The Made By Google 2024 event included the announcement of Google’s latest innovations in hardware and software, with a strong focus on AI integration. XGIMI HQ and Media Tour

How-To Geek received an exclusive invitation to visit XGIMI’s headquarters and factory in Chengdu, China. There,Justin Duino, Editorial Director of Reviews, got an early hands-on preview of the MoGo 3 Pro, Elfin Flip, Aura 2, and Horizon S Pro projectors ahead of their fall launch and met with the designers and engineers responsible for bringing the products to market.

Google took the stage at its annual developer conference to announce new generative AI advancements, including models like Veo for video and Imagen 3 for images. The company also announced that AI Overviews in Google Search would be rolling out to more people, enhancedAI capabilities in Photos, and more. How-To Geek was invited to an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Roborock’s HQ and testing lab in Beijing, China.
