Eva Green Boards ‘Wednesday’ Season 3
She’ll play Aunt Ophelia in the Netflix hit’s next installment.

Another member of the Addams family is set to joinWednesday in its third season.
Eva Green has been cast in theNetflix hit as Aunt Ophelia, Morticia Addams’ (Catherine Zeta-Jones) sister. Her casting follows through on a revelation in theseason two finale that Ophelia — who’s been missing for 20 years — was in fact still alive and locked in a cell in her mother Hester’s (Joanna Lumley) basement. The character was seen only from behind in the scene and was writing “Wednesday must die” on the wall of the cell.

Green is the first major addition to the show’s cast for season three. Netflix is keeping other details under wraps for the time being.
Green and Wednesday executive producer and director Tim Burton have worked together a couple of times before, on 2016’sMiss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children and 2012’sDark Shadows film. Her credits also includeCasino Royale, Showtime’sPenny Dreadful and the upcomingJust Play Dead. She is repped by UTA and Charles Collier of Chalcot Square.
