'Workin' Moms' follows four women juggling relationships, babies and work as they strike up an unlikely friendship.

Three Actresses Join 'Black-ish' Star Catherine Reitman's Upcoming Comedy 'Workin' Moms'

The Good WitchstarDani Kind, JunoRinaldi andJessalynWanlim have grabbed leading roles inBlack-ish star CatherineReitman’supcoming original comedy,Workin’ Moms.

The 13-episode series follows four young women in a judgmental mommies’ group who form an unlikely friendship.Reitman, who is writing, directing and starring, plays a warm and grounded PR exec.

Los Angeles-basedReitman’s acting credits includeIt’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Friends With Benefits andKnocked Up. Kind plays a no-nonsense therapist,Rinaldi (The Killing) plays a “lovable mess” andOrphan Black starWanlim is in the role of a cute, but timid mother.

The half-hour created byReitman for theCBC is produced by Wolf & Rabbit Entertainment. Production in Toronto is set to start in August.

“I was excited before, but now that we’ve cast these hilarious women to play Anne, Frankie and Jenny, I really can’t wait to get production started and bring these characters, that I have such affection for, to life,”Reitman said in a statement.

Reitman and Philip Sternberg are executive producers.Workin’ Momsis their production shingle’s first TV project. Other projects includeStarting Over, a comedy also in development for theCBC, and the film Crusher,a thriller set in the world of urban snowboarding.

Kind isrepped by Patterson Talent Management,Rinaldi isrepped by The Characters Talent Agency andWanlim isrepped by Pantheon, Link Entertainment.
