What happens when a Brit takes fourAngelenos for a tour of their own hometown? JamesCorden found out when he led theRed Hot Chili Peppers on a trip through the streets of L.A.

AnthonyKiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and JoshKlinghoffer joined in withCorden for a bit of air slap-bass, wrestling, nakedness and full-voiced singing on the latest edition of Carpool Karaoke.

The Chili Peppers kept the conversation flowing with stoner talk, rock ‘n’ roll tales (Smith recounted two guys beating each other with their prosthetic legs at a festival in Netherlands) and a fantastical story of a young Cher babysittingKiedis.

Kiedis, showing no signs of the illness that hospitalized him last month and forced the band to scrap a handful of shows, engaged in some front lawn wrestling with their host. No prizes for guessing the winner.Corden has never hosted such a testosterone-rammed ride.

And, of course, the hits rang out as the alternative rockers sang “Can’t Stop,” “Give It Away” (with a special dissection of its lewd lyrics),“Californication,” “Under the Bridge,” “The Zephyr Song” and “By The Way.”

The Chili Peppers’ Carpool Karaoke aired Monday night onThe Late Late Show.Watch the segment below.
