HAProxy's elegant elephant mascot
Origin story
From a young age, it was clear Loady wasn’t like other elephants. When Loady watched the streams and rivers that flowed through the grasslands and savanna, he would instinctively sense the currents, the bottlenecks, and the hazards.
On the day of a terrible rainstorm, Loady put his knowledge to use and routed the rainwater that threatened to wash away the herd. Using the trunks of fallen trees, Loady carefully shaped the waterways and routed the rapid current safely around the endangered animals.
Loady’s heroic deeds (and experience managing complex routing in dynamic high-volume environments) didn’t go unnoticed. Loady received an invitation from HAProxy Technologies to become their official mascot.
