Atorsion field is a piece of technology employed aboardForerunner warships. Torsion fields could be used to alter the flight paths of other vessels; one such field projected by theDidact's flagshipMantle's Approach was easily able to throw aside theLibrarian's comparatively tiny expeditionary vesselAudacity immediately preceding the Didact'scomposition ofOmega Halo'shumans during theBattle of the greater Ark.^[1] Torsion fields are presumably related to thetorsion driver andtorsion plate technologies similarly employed by the Forerunners, indicating the torsion fields are somehow related togravitics.
