Kikowani was a district of the city ofNew Mombasa,Kenya,Earth. It was located on the northeastern side of the city, next to the large seawall surrounding theMombasa island. Just beside Kikowani to the southeast were thecity center andTanaga.^[1]

History[edit]

During theCovenantattack on the city in theBattle of Earth, the area was flooded. NumerousHuragok Recharge Stations were deployed to the area by the Covenant.^[1]

A battle also took place here, betweena squad ofODSTs, and a large number of Covenant forces, including aScarab. During the battle, the ODSTs destroyed multiple Huragok Recharge Stations, as well as most of the Covenant forces present in the area, before flying out of the city through a tunnel in a stolenPhantom dropship.^[1]

Economy[edit]

A variety of companies had buildings in Kikowani. These includeVyrant Telecom,AMG Transport Dynamics,EnerGuide.Tecnniqe, andAMG Transport Dynamics operated various offices in the district.^[1]

Geography[edit]

Kikowani district contained multiple open areas, housing corporate buildings, separated by large walls with tunnels inside them. The tunnels were accessible through massive doors.NMTA'sKikowani Station was located here, accessible from the city'sSector 0.^[1]
