Private First ClassGalliard[1] was aUNSC Marine from Third Squad, First Platoon, Kilo Company ofE2-BAG/1/7.[2] In2552, he participated in theBattle of Mombasa under the command ofCorporalPalmer.

Battle of Mombasa[edit]
OnOctober 20, 2552, Galliard and the rest of Third Squad were stationed in theMtangwe Underpass, unloading equipment fromM831 Troop Transports, whenJohn-117 arrived. Moments afterward, aWraith emerged and the Marines fell back into a sewer tunnel. However, Galliard, along withPvt.Jemison andPFC Locke, could not make it far enough into the tunnel before the Wraith fired aplasma mortar round into the sewer opening, generating a shockwave of heat and concussion. He was killed by a piece of rebar flung at a high speed by the blast that entered just below the nape of his neck and exited through the nose.[1]
