Cruiser was a class ofForerunner warship. The cruisers were sufficiently powerful that four ships combining firepower were able to overwhelm the defenses of aHalo installation.[1]
Service history[edit]
Several cruisers were part of the fleets defendingMaethrillian duringMendicant Bias'attack. Combined fire from four of the ships destroyed one of the original Halo rings under Mendicant's control.[1]
After holding theUr-Didact prisoner, theGravemind placed thePromethean commander aboard a cruiser headed towardFaber's makeshift fleet of war, ensuring the formerMaster Builder would find him there. Upon discovering the Didact was aboard the ship, Faber had the cruiser towed to a research center.[2]
