But I don't really understand what's supposed to be more convenient about regular "true wireless" earphones than the Shures I mentioned (or any other Shures paired with their TW adapters)? The charging case is a bit larger than most, I guess, but other than that 🤷♂️
They're just as much "true wireless" as anything else. And sound better, are far more flexible, you can just come home and plug cables in while you charge them or if you want lossless or completely latency free sound, you can get the (IMO amazing) Comply Professional tips for them (come included with pricier models like my wife's AONIC 5)... In my view, a whole world of things you can't do with "regular" TW earphones.
Yes, you also get it with separate IEMs and TW, but why when these are both and you've only got so many years of good hearing in your life; why waste both money and your good hearing years on mediocre sound? 👂
They need to have Multipoint connection so I can connect to my computer and phone at the same time. No idea why Samsung refuses to add this very common feature.

i doubt this earbud only supports SBC or calls only at all on other phones lmao
Anonymous, 7 hours agoThere is called Dac or AmpHm, perhaps you misunderstood me, I was only talking about Bluetooth here... Any Bluetooth DAC/amp will have the same limitations, i.e. no lossless; or, with aptX Lossless, only in perfect conditions. And only 16 bit/44,1 kHz.
A wired DAC/amp can, of course, just like a built-in one on phones with a 3,5 mm jack, use any lossless signal.
no Bluetooth codec supports true 32-bit or 36-bit lossless transmission. LDAC can support up to 32-bit, but at a lossy compression rate.

There's no such thing as 24 bit lossless BT audio anywhere in sight, not from Samsung or anyone else. Even 16 bit lossless is much more theoretical than a reality.
FatalXE, 15 hours agoJust bought Buds pro 3, instant regret. Cheap copy of Apple, controls are horrible, earphones ...moreI'll never understand why anyone buys this e-waste when the same money can get proper IEMs in wireless; e.g. Shure AONIC 215.
But to each their own. 🤷♂️
Anonymous, 12 hours agoYeah I know that. But this looks nothing but a useless copy. So, they're not allowed to use what they own? This is literally the reason they bought Harman Kardon. To get access to the biggest knowledge pool in high end audio. That is also why Samsung is the only brand capable of delivering lossless 24-bit audio on bluetooth. And also the reason Samsung will be the first brand to abandon bluetooth for UWB. If you stop innovating, you end up like Sony or Nokia.
9el, 15 hours agoSamsung owns JBL 😉Yeah I know that. But this looks nothing but a useless copy.
Oh so now we're skimping on the little earpieces as well, huh? NEXT UP! Earbuds sold separately from the charging case!
Anonymous, 21 hours agoLooks similar to jbl live pro 2. The last unique samsung was buds pro 2.Samsung owns JBL 😉
Just bought Buds pro 3, instant regret. Cheap copy of Apple, controls are horrible, earphones constanly fall out cause of proprietary locking mechanism, software issues where my music sudently starts playing from speaker phone, (never happened with previous 2 headphones)
