Yet they had a press release in China during Matepad mini launch that the sim card/mobile connectivity is a mich wanted feature so they put it in the matepad mini lol.

It makes sense that to keep the price down, the GSM/GPS/LTE and other features like SIM/SD cards are removed, allowing only WiFi. Let the dedicated phone do the phoning and data interface, while providing the Hotspot for the tablet as your office and...
