• Did you know? Prior to his solo career, Hendrix worked as a session guitarist under the name Jimmy James, playing with acts such as Ike And Tina Turner, Sam Cooke, the Isley Brothers, and Little Richard.

• Hendrix's 1966 Fender Stratocaster was among the instruments featured in theGRAMMY Museum at L.A. Live's 2015 Rare Guitars exhibit. TheGRAMMY Hall Of Fame has inducted six of Hendrix's recordings, including "All Along The Watchtower" and "Purple Haze."
