Charge HQ

Grade led the charge with new branding and design to showcase Charge HQ's groundbreaking platform and innovative EV charging solution.

As a leading force in the electric vehicle charging landscape, Charge HQ are revolutionising EV charging whilst making it even more sustainable.


By seamlessly integrating a range of various systems and technologies into one user-friendly solution, Charge HQ leverages solar energy and off-peak power to redefine the EV charging paradigm.

In order to better represent their product and strengthen market positioning, Charge HQ realised that a new look and feel was in order for the brand.

With a solid base of loyal, passionate early adopters, Charge HQ recognised the importance of bringing these supporters on this journey, enlisting Grade to consciously drive the brand’s evolution.

Solution

Taking Charge HQ's vision to heart, Grade embarked on a transformative journey to reimagine the EV charging landscape through visual design. The result? A fresh new look combining the brand’s foundational values of innovation and sustainability, supported by the creation of user-friendly visual assets the team could use to subtly improve the overall app experience over time.

  • New brand identity that more closely aligned with Charge HQ’s core values and market positioning.

  • Brand assets including logo, typeface selection and colourways

  • Comprehensive brand book demonstrating how the look and feel would roll out across various assets / platforms, empowering the small Charge HQ team through seamless implementation

  • Grade also worked with the Charge HQ team to produce and implement iconography and brand assets, rolling these out across the Charge HQ website and showcasing brand direction through proposed designs for the utility mobile app

Results

The new brand identity has elevated Charge HQ’s website and online presence to more closely reflect the brand’s ethos, strongly resonating with their community and giving the Charge HQ team renewed confidence in promoting their offering.

As a climate tech company, finding a designer that understood and cared about what we were working on was high on our wish list.

The entire Grade team took a genuine interest in what we were doing which I think was foundational in achieving a great outcome.
