Travelling to the UK and visas

For questions about applying for a visa or your visa status,contact UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI). The British Consulate General in Barcelona cannot help with travel or visa enquiries. 

Getting help in Spain 

Passports 

If you’re abroad and cannot use your passport, for example if it’s been lost, stolen or damaged, you can apply for areplacement passport.  

If you need to travel before your replacement passport is issued, you can apply for anemergency travel document. 

Emergency assistance 

Contact your travel provider and insurer if you’re involved in a serious incident or emergency abroad. They’ll tell you if they can help and what you need to do to make a claim.
