The most important thing to me is that they are believable in the role. Not that they look perfect. Having said that, Ren and Kishan are descendants of Genghis Khan so they have to be big enough to be credible as warriors of the time in which they were born. Kelsey will be easy I think. There are many good actresses who could pull her off. The villain, Lokesh, is an important if not the most important choice. A good villain makes the movie I think.(less)

Resilience in Adversity

Simpler Times

When I was a little girl, I couldn’t have conceived of the multitude of trials that face young people today. Times were simpler.  Yes, we had bullies and we needed heroes to show us how to be resilient in times of adversity, but back then, the good guys always won on tv and it was pretty easy to figure out who the villain was. Evil and violence, if we were lucky, were not things we fa

Unraveling (Unraveling, #1) by Elizabeth Norris byElizabeth Norris
Goodreads Summary-Two days before the start of her junior year, seventeen-year-old Janelle Tenner is hit by a pickup truck and killed—as in blinding light, scenes of her life flashing before her, and then nothing. Except the next thing she knows, she’s opening her eyes to find Ben Michaels, a loner from her high school whom Janelle has never talked to, leaning over her. And even though it isn’t possible, Janelle knows—with every fiber of her being—that Ben has somehow brought her back to life.

But her reincarnation, and Ben’s possible role in it, is only the first of the puzzles that Janelle must solve. While snooping in her FBI-agent father’s files for clues about her accident, she uncovers a clock that seems to be counting down to something—but to what? And when someone close to Janelle is killed, she can no longer deny what’s right in front of her: Everything that’s happened—the accident, the murder, the countdown clock, Ben’s sudden appearance in her life—points to the end of life as she knows it. And as the clock ticks down, she realizes that if she wants to put a stop to the end of the world, she’s going to need to uncover Ben’s secrets—and keep from falling in love with him in the process.

From debut author Elizabeth Norris comes this shattering novel of one girl’s fight to save herself, her world, and the one boy she never saw coming.

Born Wicked (The Cahill Witch Chronicles, #1) by Jessica Spotswood byJessica Spotswood
Goodreads Summary-Everybody knows Cate Cahill and her sisters are eccentric. Too pretty, too reclusive, and far too educated for their own good. But the truth is even worse: they’re witches. And if their secret is discovered by the priests of the Brotherhood, it would mean an asylum, a prison ship—or an early grave.

Before her mother died, Cate promised to protect her sisters. But with only six months left to choose between marriage and the Sisterhood, she might not be able to keep her word... especially after she finds her mother’s diary, uncovering a secret that could spell her family’s destruction. Desperate to find alternatives to their fate, Cate starts scouring banned books and questioning rebellious new friends, all while juggling tea parties, shocking marriage proposals, and a forbidden romance with the completely unsuitable Finn Belastra.

If what her mother wrote is true, the Cahill girls aren’t safe. Not from the Brotherhood, the Sisterhood—not even from each other.

Dearly, Departed (Gone With the Respiration, #1) by Lia Habel byLia Habel
Goodreads summary-Love can never die.

Love conquers all, so they say. But can Cupid’s arrow pierce the hearts of the living and the dead—or rather, the undead? Can a proper young Victorian lady find true love in the arms of a dashing zombie?

The year is 2195. The place is New Victoria—a high-tech nation modeled on the manners, mores, and fashions of an antique era. A teenager in high society, Nora Dearly is far more interested in military history and her country’s political unrest than in tea parties and debutante balls. But after her beloved parents die, Nora is left at the mercy of her domineering aunt, a social-climbing spendthrift who has squandered the family fortune and now plans to marry her niece off for money. For Nora, no fate could be more horrible—until she’s nearly kidnapped by an army of walking corpses.

But fate is just getting started with Nora. Catapulted from her world of drawing-room civility, she’s suddenly gunning down ravenous zombies alongside mysterious black-clad commandos and confronting “The Laz,” a fatal virus that raises the dead—and hell along with them. Hardly ideal circumstances. Then Nora meets Bram Griswold, a young soldier who is brave, handsome, noble . . . and dead. But as is the case with the rest of his special undead unit, luck and modern science have enabled Bram to hold on to his mind, his manners, and his body parts. And when his bond of trust with Nora turns to tenderness, there’s no turning back. Eventually, they know, the disease will win, separating the star-crossed lovers forever. But until then, beating or not, their hearts will have what they desire.

In Dearly, Departed, romance meets walking-dead thriller, spawning a madly imaginative novel of rip-roaring adventure, spine-tingling suspense, and macabre comedy that forever redefines the concept of undying love.

Along with her best friend Dante and their quiet and brilliant classmate Lance, she is awarded a prestigious internship in the big city— Chicago—and is sent to live and work at a swanky and stylish hotel under the watchful eyes of a group of gorgeous and shockingly young-looking strangers: powerful and alluring hotel owner Aurelia Brown; her second-in-command, the dashing Lucian Grove; and their stunning but aloof staff of glamazons called The Outfit.

As Haven begins falling for Lucian, she discovers that these beautiful people are not quite what they seem. With the help of a mysterious book, she uncovers a network of secret passageways from the hotel’s jazz-age past that leads her to the heart of the evil agenda of Aurelia and company: they’re in the business of buying souls. Until the day she meets someone she's forbidden to love, and Romeo, oh Romeo, will do everything in his power to destroy that love.

Loverbluereader Hey colleen I was reading some quotes from tigers curse answer I didn't understand one , one of them was talking about Kelsey from Ren's point point of view. Are you going to start making books in Ren's point of view? Oh yea I have another question its are you going to make 2 more books after tigers voyage? If you are you must make them come sooner I'm in suspense most of the time and I AM NOT A PATIENT PERSON.

jeaninakay I know righ? So not fair !!!!

Kelley How come people have recieved Tiger's Voyage today? I would love to read the book now too, i do not understand why some peoples books were shipped to them today. If you could please respond to this i would love to know the answer. Thank you, Kelley.

jeaninakay Hi mrs. houck!!! I see that you are online JS you are the awesomest writer I know!!! And BTW Ren is so SMEXY!!!

Linda gossman Thank you so much for the hours of great reading you have provided me. I truly love your work. I hope you don't stop writing after the tiger books. I have a feeling anything you write will be a five star book.

Kelsey Hey Colleen! I'm not sure where to place my comment about why I deserve a galley of TV, so I'm leaving one everywhere that I follow u, LOL. I hope I don't get disqualified so I'll get rite 2 the point. The Tiger's Curse Saga has become my world, I reread each book every week, and luckily for me I got copies of your self publish version of TC and TQ. I have to tell u that I loved them even more. I got to see a side of Kelsey that I only imagined but when I read your description of her she became even more solid in my imagination (if that makes any sense). I have read so many other books as well to kill time before TV gets out but I always end up not being fully satisfied and finish rereading the best books ever, TC & TQ. Soon to be added to the list TV, TDm, & TDy. My passion for these books can be seen from a mile away, everything has to do with tigers and Indian culture. At work I relate everything I do with this series. I deserve a galley because deep down, honest to God I love this books, their super special to me and are truly the best books ever and I would slap anyone who dare say otherwise XD. Thank u so much Colleen because u have given me and ur fans a world we love to visit each and every time we read your books.Plus every time I see or read a new interview with you, I am more certain that u r Kelsey Hayes in the flesh!. Love ya 4 reals!

Kat (Lost in Neverland) Hi Mrs. Colleen, not to bother you or anything....but I had an idea for you.
It would be really cool if maybe Tiger's Voyage, Tiger's Destiny, or Tiger's Dream, that some of the money from the profits could go to Tiger Conservation. It's terrible to think that this beautiful animal might be extinct in twelve years time. Since your series is so popular and tigers are the main idea in the story, money to the tiger conservation fund would be an awesome idea. You've probably already thought of it before though.
Just a thought. ;)

Sarah Thank you for accepting my request Colleen :) I'm currently reading Tiger's Curse- so far I am loving it! It's so different to what I have read before, and I hope to one day see you in the UK if ever you visit on a tour :D All the best Sarah
