Mental Health Board
The Mental Health Board members are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. The Administrator and the Mental Health Board work in close collaboration with the New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services and the Professional Advisory Committee (PAC) in developing a Mental Health Plan and scope of service.

Addiction & Mental Health Disorders
The Office of Mental Health Services and the Office of Addiction Services work in collaboration as needed. Addiction and mental health disorders may be co-occurring illnesses in some situations; therefore, necessitating integrated treatment options.
Mental Health Emergencies
If you or a loved one is experiencing thoughts of or has a plan of suicide or harm to self or others, due to mental illness, immediately call Psychiatric Emergency Screening Services at 856-845-9100. If you or your loved one is in imminent danger, call 911 immediately.
