👋 Hi I'm Brooke, a programmer from Vancouver, Canada.
I'm interested in programming languages, distributed systems, and virtual machines. I'm mostly known for projects porting concepts from Haskell into Elixir, and vice versa.
These days I mostly work in Haskell, Elixir, and TypeScript.
Once upon a time I contributed to standards work in Ethereum, focused mainly on improving the performance and safety of thevirtual machine (EVM) and smart contract interoperability.
I also like togive talks about the various things I'm working on.
