OpenTimelineIO is an interchange format and API for editorial cut information.OTIO contains information about the order and length of cuts and references toexternal media. It is not however, a container format for media.

The OpenTimelineIO github organization is a federation of repos relating to theOpenTimelineIO coreproject.

Repositories stored in this organization include adapters, language bindings(except python, which ispart of the core),examples, and more.

These subprojects are part of the OpenTimelineIO project but may be supporteddifferently than the OpenTimelineIO core.

This may include:

• Repos primarily maintained by community members with OpenTimelineIO core team members only providing guidance
• Repos provided for informational or archival purposes that aren't actively maintained
