Shared description
Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church
Prior to 1883, when a mass station was set up in the village, Bishopton Catholics had to travel to St Fillan's, Houston to worship. A church was built in 1926 and was substantially rebuilt in 1949. The present presbytery was built in 1967 and the church has seen some remodelling inside and out since that time.
