Nearing the summit of Blorenge, a big hill at the NE extremity of the South Wales Valleys uplands. The view eastwards is over the patchwork of fields in rural Monmouthshire towards the Forest of Dean.

The path here was rocky and rough going until it has been undergoing improvement recently. One of the easiest routes to an 1,800 foot (561 m) summit that I know of.
