![]() | River Severn The water level is low now after 2 weeks of dry weather in March, but debris deposited on the twigs shows how high the water rose during the winter. |
![]() | Montgomery Canal at Aber-miwl This fine old bridge, made at the Brymbo Ironworks near Wrecsam, in 1853 used to carry the Newton to Welshpool road.In recent years this has taken a new route. There is also a fine cast iron bridge over the Severn but this is difficult to photograph. |
