Zafiro is agargoyle of theMayan Clan and a descendant ofZafiro andObsidiana.[1]

History

Hatched in2158, Zafiro he is the same age asSamson andDelilah.[2] The three of them all learnedbushido together atIshimura and became close friends in an almostThree Musketeers-manner. Like his ancestors in1996, Zafiro wears one of themagical pendants powered by theMayan Sun Amulet, which keeps him from turning tostone in the daytime. He will take part in theresistance movement against theSpace-Spawn in2198, and eventually followNokkar into outer space.[3]

Characteristics

He resembles the Zafiro of1996 in physical appearance, but has Obsidiana's coloring. He is less of a warrior than Samson and Delilah, being more of a bookish scholar.
