I don't know if Lattafa Shahd smells more like an air freshener or maybe a toilet block. The longer I smell it, the more I think it's more like a toilet block...

Marck Menke

This is a pleasant floral blend that give sweetness without being cloying.
Its use of both 'yellow' (ylang-ylang) and 'white' (plumeria, tuberose) floral notes keeps it centered, while those enigmatic solar (fantasy) notes help to open it up to the air. A light breeze blows through this scent.
As always, the basenotes provide balance and ballast, but none stand out strongly.

Shahd means 'honey' in Arabic, however, while this is sweetly floral, I would not describe this as being literally honey-scented.

gardeniavanilla

This is lovely. For those - such as myself - looking for a Narciso Ambrée dupe, I'd say this is satisfactory. If you love one, you'll love the other. However, this is way more floral and less musky, which makes it skew younger. It has very good longevity and sillage.

It's subtle tropicality. Very floral and feminine, with prominent notes of ylang-ylang, frangipani, vanilla, and a (sadly faint) trace of musk. Just the right touch of sophistication. It can smell a little like sunscreen, but better. Lighter, without being obvious - no coconut, no mango, nothing too juicy.

I'm starting a monthly chronicle of my search of a new signature scent. This month it was Shahd, and it's a great contender. It's definitely signature worthy, as it has a lot of personality, it's bright, but soft enough to wear to any setting. It's spring/summery, but appropriate for any weather. This is nice but doesn’t suit me.

There’s an emphasis on Ylang Ylang which strikes me as a bit…toilet air freshener fragrance.

However, I’ve not given it much of a chance so I’ll wear it some more and come back with a more informed review.

rachelgiuntoli

Upon first smell I was immediately taken back to sneaking into my grandmother’s closet and spraying her white diamonds all over me. I was positive there’s something in it that’s similar, and there is. Ylang ylang, tuberose and musk.

-IF white diamonds is a 60-70yo woman, she’d have been Shahd when she was 30-40yo.

This smells like a younger more modern take but still too mature for my nose. The dry down is a lot less abrasive but this is a LOUD floral. Bright, sunny, slightly tropical, elegant, mature without being too mature but I can’t see a teenager or young adult wearing this. A girl who wears this has wisdom under her belt and knows who she is.

I think I’d like smelling it in passing on someone else, it’s just not for me.

Eaudeaddict

This is quite similar to Narciso Rodriguez Ambre. But this is most similar to Al Musbah Gardenia Musk in the way that it is quite punchy and bright. NR tends to get light and airy before disappearing after a few hours. I initially found it to have some sharpness that I didn't enjoy. But I've had my bottle of Shahd for at least a year now and that sharpness is gone and I enjoy it more. If you wanted to like this or Ambre and it didn't work out, try Kenzo Ikebana (not sure if it's the Ikebana Mimosa). I think it's a similar vibe while and also quite strong and long lasting.

Momopeach

Pretty pretty yellow floral. The way yellow florals have a powdery almost fruity undertone is done well here. Summery but no coconut. They did a great job replicating the Narciso cube musk here. Longevity is moderate but I think that is appropriate for this type of summery DNA.

Lady_DD

I really love this scent! It's super feminine, fresh, bright… and slightly powdery, definitely one of those 'clean girl' vibes. It kind of reminds me of Narciso Eau de Parfum Ambrée.

peachpng

The best way I can describe this scent is that it's very pretty. Light and floral; perfect for spring and summer. Scent notes here are spot on. Reminds me of walking past a flower bed in the springtime. Doesn't last very long on me; maybe about 4 hours max when layered with a oil or lotion, otherwise it's ~2 hours on bare skin. Lasts ~5-6 hours on clothing, though. Would honestly reach for it more often if it lasted longer. :/

Mihaf

Too light and cheap smelling

Previous comment is INCORRECT.... THE NOTES IN THIS FRAGRANCE ARE CORRECT ON FRAGRANTICA.
Top - Frangipani, Ylang Ylang
Heart - Solar Notes, Tuberose
Base - Amber, Vanilla, Musk, Cedar.
Not only are these notes correct. They are OBVIOUSLY what you smell in the fragrance.
Lattafa themselves have incorrect notes, as does Jomashop.
Lattafa has posted incorrect notes on their website, on a few of their fragrances.
If you actually OWN this fragrance, or have worn it regularly, the error is quite obvious for anyone who knows the difference between waxy yellow florals and LITERALLY EVERYTHING ELSE.
It's a blatant error.

Fa6uum

Wrong notes here.
Correct notes:
Top Notes: Almond, Orange

Middle Notes: Jasmine, white florals, Orris, Tuberose and hint of amber.

Base Notes: Amber, Vanilla, Praline and Musk.

Note: This review was written before the fragrance had time to macerate. I may update it after maceration.

Shahd reminds me of Amarige by Givenchy, which I once found in vintage form. It's a richly sweet scent—like nectar dripping from ylang-ylang and tuberose blossoms.
It shares a trait with Amarige: when sprayed lightly, it's absolutely lovely; but if I go beyond a certain amount, it begins to feel overwhelming.
I don’t detect any coconut, but I do imagine warm, tropical sunlight and lush humidity, filled with vivid, thick-petaled flowers in full bloom.
If you could bottle the nectar dripping from those flowers under a clear blue sky, I believe this is what it would smell like.
Longevity is moderate—around five to six hours. Since it's an eau de parfum, I must admit I wish it lingered just a bit longer.

Ferra_Verto

Opens with a rich almost balsamic yellow floral scent with emphasis on ylang-ylang, tuberose, and a lightly sweet musky base. Gets a touch powdery as it dries on my skin, projects very strongly.
Perfect for the warm months, preferably spring and summer.
Cheap as chips, a great dupe for NR's Eau de Parfum Ambrée.

Adela7

Good one, nice blend, but not my choice for the summer. Too sweet in the opening and a little bit sunscreeny.
Could work though, if citruses are not your number one, like they are for me.
It's a happy and feminine scent, I'll give it that.

Carmenishappy

I will literally purchase anything with a frangipani note, especially when the reviews are good. My only fear was since it had solar notes and described as a powdery tropical that it would translate to being a sunscreen scent, but let me just say this surprisingly exceeded my expectations!!
As with most Arabic perfumes, I can tell this needs time to macerate in hopes that certain notes will come through more, but as it stands it’s so pretty! Definitely getting a yellow floral vibe, it’s slightly creamy but I get more of a powdery, floral sweet, not gourmand sweet scent. She’s giving honeyed Plumeria 😍 It has a subtle brightness to it which I can only describe it as being on the solar tropical side, but not at all dialed up to 11. I truly appreciate this as I’m not a fan of solar sunscreenish scents at all 🤢
I can’t say she’s groundbreaking, earth shatteringly gorgeous, but there’s something so pleasant about her, she’s a demure queen!! Happy to report this was a safe blind buy. She might not be the most unique color in the crayon box but I snagged this for $15. My only complaint is that she doesn’t last as long as I’ve seen reviews claim, at least not yet. Right now I can barely get about 3 hours of the base notes so after some time I hope her performance improves, most Arabic scents do. Despite it needing some time to sit, I’ve been spritzing this on as is! I can’t help but pick it up to sniff/spray this when I’m home! We might be able to chalk it up to shiny new toy syndrome but as subtle as she is, there’s something about her! 👛
I put her in my spring/summer rotation of perfect daily/office scents roster, but this would be really nice year round! I’ve been layering this with my last bottle of Bath & Body Works Plumeria 🥹 and Kim K Pure Honey, MY LORD!!! They work so well together!!

yayimah

This is beautiful! It's elegant, classy, happy, and radiant. It reminds me of Prada La Femme. Plumerias are the dominant note. Ohhh beautiful flowers that remind me of Oahu.

Zollan

Unexpectedly good blind buy. Strong presence, longevity, silage all wrapped up in warm, floral, feminine notes. Can be well worn in every weather and occasion.

brownbarbie

Shahd is a plumeria flower or grown-up banana candy, depending on who you ask. I love layering this baby with other fragrances, as long as they're not too heavy or overpowering. The first few sprays from my bottle were a bit floral-heavy, but give her some time to settle and she might surprise you. I recommend this fragrance if you are looking for an elegant yet sunny addition to your collection.

Good smells amazing 👏 🤩 😌 Good for sleeping time sweet and alluring @ like like!

Betsyw1109

Maybe I got a bad bottle but, this is giving 1980s, Avon, bug spray, grandma.

Flealala

I purchased this a couple months ago because it was inexpensive and looked like it would be good for summer. I took a sniff, smiled- off that’s lovely- then put in a dark closet until May. This morning I was in the mood for a lift with my coffee so I applied lightly. This has more going for it than I initially thought, and I was wrong to think it couldn’t hold up during the winter. While the florals are well blended and summery- the vanilla and musk ground those notes in a manner that works year round. Not bad for $18. 8/10

Ismellgood2024

This was love at first sniff for me! I’ve heard YouTube reviews stating it smells familiar and it does! It seems like it’s a combination of more than one of my favorites mixed together in the best way. This could easily be a signature scent, and may become mine. I immediately purchased a backup bottle. It’s soft yet bold and would be appropriate for just about any occasion or season. It lasted on skin for about four hours and on clothes, probably 8-10. This will be in my collection for a long time!

CosmicCabaret

The best way I can describe this perfume is a warm hug on a sunny day. Effortlessly feminine, wears surprisingly well in the winter months. My mood is uplifted by the warm solar notes. The performance is excellent.

Pippamorningstar

Brilliant blind buy. A beautiful tropical floral with terrific performance. Really feminine, really uplifting, gorgeous on sunny days.

jadepo21

This is like a bottled sunshiney day spent in a garden, reading your favorite book, sipping tea and enjoying a subtle breeze. It is purely lovely, calming, easy, carefree. Prettiness and happiness at its purest.

Kristinwho

Shahd by Lattafa

What can I say? For me this is the younger sister of Chanel Gabrielle Essence. IDK why??? It’s calming and beautiful. Creamy. Signature scent worthy. ❤️

LaShaJ

This was a good blind buy in my opinion. A nice Floral scent to my nose that has touch of creaminess!!!

Lotte_Liese

A softly sweet combination of frangipiani, ylang ylang and musk- Shahd is a fragrance that is hard to dislike and easy to reach for on a daily basis. A clone of Narciso's Ambre, yes, but a very good clone of it, I must say.
Cleanliness, gentleness, softness, subtleness and girlish desires are the feelings this perfume exudes. That's all.

MyPerfumeVault

Sweet, nice, affordable. Nothing extraordinary but pretty good for the price

Cessyleighh

Notes on Lattafa's site and every other site list notes as:

Top notes: Almond, Orange. ·
Middle notes: White Flowers, Jasmine, Orris, Tuberose, Amber. ·
Base notes: Vanilla, Praline, Musk.

I ordered today because both versions of note combos appeal to me but I'm hoping for a powder.

Definitely a NR rouge dupe. Tropical Musk. I like it but I've received comments such as "sunscreen and bleach" "sunscreen and bug spray."
Morons, obviously.

PaolaIzabellaFelix

Why does the smell like Jo Malone, Honeysuckle and Davana on me. Has anyone else experienced this? It's a beauty though, soft, flowery, moonlit night. Also, the scent that lingers after a bath or shower is divine. Can't say enough good things about this perfume

ScentJunkie5366

I am so surprised this gem isn't recommended all over FragCom...I bought this for under $15 after coming across it, online and decided to take a chance because the notes looked "beachy" and intriguing.
This is BEAUTIFUL. Creamy yellow tropical smelling flowers, the softest hint of a powdery touch of sweetness. You can practically feel the waxiness of the petals on your fingertips. The solar notes give it even more of a realistic feel. There's a light muskiness underneath and a soft sweetness that must be the vanilla. I can't pick out Tuberose but that's fine by me. This is perfect the way it is!!
If I want it to have a sweeter wear, I will layer a vanilla, or pink sugar body butter and body oil underneath it.
If I want a more beachy, summery vibe, I layer a Coconut Cream Pie, or Pina Colada, possibly Plumeria scented Body products...whatever I'm feeling, that's what I go for!!
I haven't figured out if I should try my TF Lost Cherry Body oil and Body Butter with it, or if that would be weird...?
I'm having fun with this fragrance, though. I'm definitely repurchasing!!

VioletScented

Lovely gentle solar floral fragrance. Clean and feminine. I can see myself wearing this when I am missing the sunshine in these upcoming months. I love that this is summery without having any coconut or other summer fruits, it's just a true floral. Strong lasting power on clothes and skin with moderate to heavy sillage.

constantinna

I don't know why, to me it feels... icy! Frozen yellow flowers thawing in a gold cup, straight from a sultan's mother-of-pearl inlaid drawers...

I'm not getting any prominent white flowers. How I wished for this to be similar to Gucci Bloom or Guerlain Terracotta...

pinotos802

A powdery, sweet floral fragrance. I don't really care if this is a dupe or not, it has crazy good performance and sillage and i'm really pleased with it. The yellow florals can smell at times a little bit outdated, but the frangipani gives it some really juicy sweetness that I don't mind. Amazingly good for the price, great value. It doesn't have the oriental DNA present with a lot of Lattafa fragrances, but I wouldn't consider this a safe blind buy, some people might consider it too strong or too sweet.

Jacquis

Lattafa's Shahd is a gorgeous signature type perfume which performs very well for a great value. When I first received this perfume a few months ago, it was late spring and it smelled a bit vintage like the above suggested Lalique pour femme. However, months later in the high heat of summer (97F), I tried this again and it is giving me Prada La femme. This has become that creamy, waxy yellow floral with a bit of musk. Very cozy. I am enjoying Shahd in the summer. Very long lasting as well. Just 2 sprays are enough.

VanillaMochi

What a delightful yellow floral perfume! If you like ylang-ylang and frangipani, you will LOVE this one! It's so fresh! Creamy, yellow, sunny florals just bring a smile to my face and make me happy sigh every time I smell them! I don't get any vanilla from this fragrance at all, but I do smell the warm ambery, musky base, which smells like skin but better. I can't believe more people aren't talking about this!

DustyMoth

Got this for my mother, who really like fresh, juicy, sumer perfumes (she liked it, yay!).
I can't help but think it reminds me of something, maybe a shampoo or a lotion.

katatuulikki

This is a summer scent I love! Usually floral perfumes give me a headache and smell too generic. But this one is different! It's a warm and inviting floral perfume. It's fun and summery while still being sophisticated enough to wear to office. It's grown up but not too mature. As someone who typically loves gourmands, I tend to struggle with summer scents. They are often too light and airy, too fruity, too citrusy, too much white floral, or too much something else I don't want to smell like. I guess I do enjoy yellow floral notes way more than white floral ones. Shahd is just beautiful! It has just enough depth to it to make it more interesting, but not too much to make it something else than a summery daytime perfume. Also I find the projection and longevity are pretty good. It's not eternal and overpowering, but it will last for a good 6 hours.

Chinku14.04

This smells amazingly good.. trust me. This is feminine doesn't last like forever but last for good time. This isnt nothing like i smelled before. This is good running errands, going to mall for quick trip. Think is a good value for money and a must buy for girlies🙂🙂🙂

cortneylush

When you first spray this on a card, Shahd smells like a rich Arab lady who is dressed to the nines for basic errands. A no-nonsense matriarch who you love and respect SO much that you wouldn't dare upset her for fear that the whole house would come after you. On the skin however, this smells more friendly and a little less intimidating. Not to say its less rich, but more approachable and lovely. Its definitely yellow florals and frangipani, and because this is not a flower that grows in Canada it is certainly exotic smelling and warmly tropical (without any coconut or pineapples.) I think the colder it gets outside the richer and more intimidating this would smell - and the hotter it is outside, the more this fragrance makes absolute sense, and isn't out of place or overdressed for the occasion. Definitely a nicer scent on the skin than on the card.

Edit*3/6/25 - Its winter outside, and wearing Shahd feels warm and sweet and uplifting and brings me hope that the snow will eventually melt. Its perfect for a winter day because it is SO outrageously out-of-context with how cold it is outside! Its 100% an anti-depressant.
Also, this will last FOREVER on clothes - I sprayed a silk scarf with it a few weeks ago, and I can still smell it!!

ovo_hendrixx

Ok, so because before i bought this fragrance a lot of the reviews I was looking at made me skeptical let me tell you exactly what this fragrance is like. first of all for those who know the true smell of plumeria/frangipani, yes. this does smell like frangipani/plumeria. at first spray it is a tad bit alcoholic and kind of in your face with the what you would call jasmine if you arent familiar with the scent of plumeria. it starts out sweet but in a floral way not like pink or red florals but white and yellow florals of course, and then it starts to settle down on skin as a tiny bit soapy and powdery but still staying true to the jasmine and plumeria/frangipani and it starts to have a tiny citrus effect which I'm assuming is coming from the plumeria/frangipani- then you get some of that cedar which is fragrant and woody but doesn't overpower the sweet powdery citrusy jasmine/frangipani- it stays sweet and clean/fresh as it dries down and keeps the frangipani and jasmine flowing through it but shows its sweet musk as it dries down and you start to smell the ambery vanilla part of it. I've seen some people say its reminiscent of laundry detergent and I hate laundry detergent scents so I have to disagree but I think for some people who have never smelt true frangipani which is sweet citrusy and jasmine gardenia-ish but still fresh and light they might mistaken that as a laundry detergent note. when you wear this you will definitely smell clean and sweet and frangipani/jasmine florally. I just received this today so I will have to test out the projection and see if I get compliments and let you guys know but this is definitely a very pretty girl fragrance like oh your really nice and sweet but your also a boss and you got your shit together but your nice about it yfm 😂😂

The_Sniffer_Might_Differ

Update: This is still a favorite and very comforting, helps me de-stress. When the zombies come, Shahd is one of the few frags I would still want to haul around with me to help me feel comfier and get to sleep. I have a backup bottle now, too.

-

To be fair, I just got this bottle a few days ago, and I understand Lattafa fragrances can change a lot as they mature, but WOW. I am generally not a fan of yellow florals, but the frangipani is hitting me in the best way. I've smelled what people will call "plumeria" in stores and for a long time, thought I wasn't a fan of it, because I really disliked those scents. Later when I smelled the actual plant, it was so pleasant, it threw me for a loop. I could smell those all day and be happy! This is that smell to me, as I remember it from the flower. The top notes in this fragrance are right there for me.

Someone asked if it has a laundry-like smell to it, and-- yes and no. It doesn't smell like any laundry soap I can find, or I would be using that soap. But I will say that during the first half hour or so, the plumeria is so fragrant yet soft and inviting that it has laundry-soap levels of comfort and might evoke that kind of feeling of freshness and cleanliness, without smelling like a particular soap. But I say that as someone who -does- like certain laundry smells. Ngl, I -would- spritz this on my blanket as much as myself. It's one of those florals that even when strong, it's only comforting, not a headache.

All that said, this scent is very feminine. It has a quiet confidence and coziness. It is a nap in the sunshine, or reading a book with the windows open on a beautiful spring or summer day. I probably won't wear this too much in the fall, and think as far as nighttime, it would only fit a hot summer's night on the beach.

The topnotes are a dream imo. Projection and sillage both fairly strong. I'm still feeling out the heart notes some, because the tuberose doesn't seem strong to me, but I don't yet have a good sense of what solar notes are supposed to be. Sure, it smells like sunshine, but I want to put more of a description on it than that. Regarding the drydown, I get mostly a musk sooner than I'd expect. It's pleasant but not very strong. You can still make out some of the florals, but that sunshine-fresh plumeria needs a bit of topping up if you miss it. The projection drops pretty hard for me once the plumeria fades, and it turns into a skin scent in a few hours, though still detectable.

Anyway, I'm really liking this, probably my favorite recent find. It only ran me like $20 and I'm so into it. Now I want to smell Narciso too, though. I expect that this will be one of my most-worn until fall gets here.

One last thing, some reviews mention other notes from Lattafa's website. The ones listed here on Fragrantica right now are the correct ones. It's pretty cut and dry-- zero orange or almond in here, and definitely plumeria, not jasmine. Go by the notes that include frangipani and you won't be disappointed.

ovo_hendrixx

hi! i have a question, im considering purchasing this fragrance. I'm not too fond of laundry soap fragrances so I was asking if this has that note, and I have also smelt frangipani plumeria in real life and I absolutely love love love the scent. is this fragrance reminiscent of the frangipani flower or is it just another added on note?

synthwavebaby

Yellow florals are not really my thing, I don't think.

That being said, this fragrance has an impressive lasting power; I sprayed it on the back of my hand to test, and the smell remained even after I washed my hands several times. It's also a good deal for the price. This is an almost sophisticated scent, and I imagine that I'll be wearing it to work. Out of curiosity, does anyone know how Shahd macerates? I'd be interested to know.

Please note that according to the Lattafa website (https://lattafa-usa.com/products/lattafa-shahd-eau-de-parfum-for-everyone) the notes actually include the following:
Top Notes: Almond, Orange

Middle Notes: Jasmine, white florals, Orris, Tuberose and hint of amber

Base Notes: Amber, Vanilla, Praline and Musk

bailarina

Lattafa's site notes:
Top: Ylang- Ylang, Frangipani
Heart: Tuberose, Solar
Base: Musk Ambery, Vanilla, Cedarwood

What is Musk Ambery?

LoveSmellsss

Also these notes are wrong according to lattafas official site

LoveSmellsss

This is in my opinion, is a coconut version of gucci bloom in all the right ways ! ❤️

MandalaaXO

Burlington alert - I just found this today at a Burlington for $15 which is awesome because I've had my eye on it. It does smell vintage, but not overwhelmingly so. I think it's the "solar" note that can do that. But this is a smooth tropical floral with a vintage vibe that isn't overwhelming. It smells pretty much exactly like I thought it would and what I wanted it to as well! If you love a lightly tropical floral vintage, it's blind buy worthy.

sarahyacinth

my kind of perfect summer scent. it smells tropical without being fruity. the yellow floral, woody notes blended smoothly creating this nice sunny fragrance that makes me can't take my nose off my wrist

MelanieLotSeven

Just received this yesterday, and already I’m very happy with this purchase. Many Lataffa perfumes seem to need a period of maceration, and while this may be true for Shahd, it was just lovely. My first impression is that this perfume is warm, soft, and fluffy musks complimented by traces of inviting yellow florals, and and beautiful base of comforting cedar and feminine vanilla. On my skin musk is the most prevalent note, but I love it- it feels like being wrapped in a fluffy bathrobe that has been washed with expensive laundry soap and dried in a tropical courtyard filled with lush, creamy flowers. While I can’t quite pick out the solar notes, I get a sense of warmth and sunniness that makes this fragrance very appealing to me. The florals and vanilla help round the fragrance out and make it feel oh so feminine. Longevity seems to run about 4-5 hours on my skin, a bit longer on clothing. It’s hard for me to judge the scent trail, but for the first 30 minutes or so, I enjoy existing in this fragrance’s cozy scent bubble. While the bottle was heavy and the atomizer worked nicely, the bottle design isn’t quite up to the standards of many other Lataffa perfumes. Overall, it’s nothing groundbreaking, but it’s lovely, and for the price it’s a safe blind buy if you’re looking for something warm, feminine, and appropriate for spring and summer.

Noveight

Soft yellow and white florals and musk. Pretty, a little heady, and so elegant. This is definitely a warm feelings fragrance, appropriate for spring and summer. This reminds me of Hibiscus Palm by Lancome (which I also own). If you don't love florals, stay far away.

PrincessKitana

I’m not the biggest fan of this scent family in general, but i quite like Narciso Ambre ( but there’s one particular sharp note that I don’t quite like maybe it’s white florals not sure, and this note is luckily missing in Shahd)
Shahd is really Ambre on steroids and at the same time softer (no sharp notes) and rounder than Ambre. I’m quite surprised but i like Shahd more actually! I also like the bottle design, it reminds me one of Micalef’s perfume bottle:)

shlynne

Ugh. I really wanted to like this. Just unboxed it about 10 min ago and right off the bat I got lots of florals with also an incense-y vibe. Not really my cup of tea. I was expecting the floral but the incense smell threw me off. Grateful it was only 18$

ButterCream

Shahd is everything… and it lasts FOREVER. I still smelled Shahd 14 hours AFTER I applied it… and it wasn’t faint even then! For me, the cedar and amber totally round out this fragrance. The musk is superiorly blended with the floral notes, and the solar notes are not too overpowering. Oftentimes, when I see solar notes, I am prejudiced to believe that I will not like the scent. However, that is not the case with Shahd. I believe that you definitely have to like florals to enjoy this scent, but there’s a little something for everyone with this fragrance. I love it.

ke3ke3

This is a perfect, one for one dupe/clone of Ambree by Narciso Rodriguez. I own the original Ambree perfume by Narciso, and it was love at first sniff for me. However, that perfume does not have the greatest longevity. In making a rather extensive list of Arabian clones, I discovered Shahd as an alleged dupe... so of course, I had to order it and see for myself! I feel obligated to report back to you folks that at least to MY nose, these are the exact same fragrance. Scent profiles are identical! I would just note that the juice in the Lattafa version is a lot more POWERFUL... I'd say for 2x sprays of Shahd, you'd be looking at 5 sprays of Narciso. Which, for me, that's amazing. I'd rather need less, to arguably be achieving more! Also, Ambree does not have the best staying power, and needs to be re-applied annoyingly frequently. With Shahd, I've comfortably gotten at least 5 hours, arguably more. Either way, that's over double what I get with Ambree!

Speaking as the scent profile as one, since they are exactly the same. This is a beautiful tropical floral fragrance, it gives all of the tropical vibes without the suncreen! Ylang ylang is very prominant, yet well balanced amongst the other notes. Wearing this perfume gives me the feeling of having just stepped off the plane in Hawaii, being honored with a lei, proceeding directly to the beach and taking an evening stroll with my lover as the sun sets... it's absolutely gorgeous! Stunning. First step into paradise. This is the fragrance of an angel visiting you on the beach! I am certain this is what a Hawaiian princess would have worn!! Personally, I don't notice too much of a difference between the spray and the dry-down, but I'm perfectly okay with that! I find it so refreshing to have found a perfectly tropical fragrance that is not reliant upon coconut. This is a beautiful, tropically cozy scent. I have a difficult time picturing this fragrance any time of the year other than the summer, and I have a difficult time picturing it for a masculine person (though of course, do what you like!).

Personally, I feel this is a very safe blind buy (unless you don't like ylang ylang). That said, I don't think the ylang ylang is overpowering, it's just pleasantly noticeable. I am very impressed by the longevity of this perfume, and it's closeness to the original Ambree by Narciso Rodriguez. This is such an excellent clone that I will not re-purchase Ambree in future, but Shahd. My only critique is that I feel the body is quite ugly, and is a bit of a let down relative to the beautiful Arabian perfume bottles I am used to seeing. Regardless, the strength and longevity of this fragrance is far superior to it's original counterpart, and for that reason, I have a hard time justifying the other. This is my second favorite tropical fragrance I've gotten my nose on, second only to Nosy Be, which has a significantly higher price point and does not have any known clones at this time. I would say that if you love Nosy Be, but want to spend less, this perfume is exactly what you're looking for! Even if I did not own Nosy Be, this fragrance is checking all the boxes to the point where I do not feel the need to add any others to my collection. Perfect for anyone looking for something tropical, but does not prefer coconut. Or, a perfect way to add some diversity to the typical tropical fragrance!

This smells very tropical with a slight hint of a coconut scent. This is not sunscreen light at all. Very soft and slightly sweet for the summer heat.

Little Principessa

This is such a lovely floral, fresh scent! Not much hyped but it's a hidden gem! My top recommendation along with Fakhar Rose for those who love clean, white floral fragrances!

I absolutely LOVE Shahd. So happy she finally made it to Fragrantica. The person below who wrote that it's Narciso Ambree on steroids' is 100% correct. I love her MORE than Narciso Ambree. This is one of those instances where the dupe is better than the OG. Every time I wear Shadh, she puts a huge smile on my face. She is my top, top favorite out of all of my perfumes. Hope she never gets DC'd. Waaaay better than Maison Alhambra's Narissa Ambre. She is just so bright and sparkling. The bottle is very pretty as well.

Narciso Rodriguez Ambree on steroids

I thought I would find Honey note listed.
Anyway, I haven't smelled what is cloning but it is your generic feminine leaning sweet floral powdery scent. Nothing new. Performance is surprisingly on the strong side.

This is like a bottled sunshiney day spent in a garden, reading your favorite book, sipping tea and enjoying a subtle breeze. It is purely lovely, calming, easy, carefree. Prettiness and happiness at its purest.

The best way I can describe this perfume is a warm hug on a sunny day. Effortlessly feminine, wears surprisingly well in the winter months. My mood is uplifted by the warm solar notes. The performance is excellent.

Brilliant blind buy. A beautiful tropical floral with terrific performance. Really feminine, really uplifting, gorgeous on sunny days.

I don't know if Lattafa Shahd smells more like an air freshener or maybe a toilet block. The longer I smell it, the more I think it's more like a toilet block...
