Kimora Lee Simmons is a fashion model from the USA.Born in St. Louis, Missouri, she is the child of a Korean-Japanese mother and an African-American father. Her mixed ancestry and her height made her become the target of school bullies. In order to boost Kimora's self-confidence her mother signed her up for modelling classes at the age of 11. This paid off quickly as she was discovered at the young age of 13 and sent off to Paris straight away.

Aged 13 she became the face of Chanel fashions and has been Karl Lagerfeld's muse for years.Baby Phat, a hip hop fashion label founded in 1999, is the company that Kimora served as creative director and president for. Baby Phat is also the brand name that licensed Kimora's first fragrances. She has managed the company until 2010.

In 2006 Kimora published her book Fabulosity: What it is and how to get it. She described the book as some kind of lifestyle manual for all ways of life. Kimora has appeared in a few roles in movies. Among them were Waist Deep and Beauty Shop. She was also featured in music videos by Usher and Ginuwine.Her stint as a judge on America's Next Top Model in 2003 was short when she changed her plans during filming.Kimora's own reality TV show, Kimora: Life in the fab lane, premiered in 2007. Cameras were with her all the time and gave an insight into her life as mother and as Baby Phat's CEO.

Kimora plans to launch her own fashion range, KLS, selling affordable clothing. Since September 2011 she has been the president and creative director of the personalized shopping web site JustFabulous.

The first of her perfumes, Baby Phat Goddess from 2005, is a floral fragrance with dominant notes of gardenia, lilac, rose and hyacinth.Baby Phat Golden Goddess, the first fragrance's successor, was launched in 2006. It was composed of sweet notes, floral accords, woods and spicy nuances.Baby Phat Fabulosity, a floral-fruity creation by perfumers of Givaudan, and Baby Phat Seductive Goddess, a floral chypre, were launched in 2008. 2010 saw the presentation of Baby Phat Dare Me with floral, woody and musky accords and coconut.Baby Phat Luv Me was presented in 2011. This fragrance features floral, woody and musky notes.
