Dassault's Falcon 7X ultra-long-range business jethas entered service following delivery on 13 Juneto Gilbert Chagoury, co-founder and chairman of industrial conglomerate the Chagoury Group.
The aircraft, MSN5, flew non-stop fromDassault's Little Rock completions centre in Arkansas, USA to Paris Le Bourget. Chagoury was the first 7X customer, placing his order in November 2001, five months after the aircraft's official launch.
The next 7X, MSN4, will be delivered to company patriarchSerge Dassault following the Paris air show. The 7X orderbook exceeds 165 to date and Dassault is preparing to deliver 20 aircraft this year and around 40 in 2008.
