The EUTOPIA Week opening ceremony took place on Monday 22 November, in the Saló de Cent chamber of Barcelona City Hall. It was attended by Laia Bonet, third deputy mayor of Barcelona; Victoria Alsina, minister of Foreign Affairs and Open Government of the Catala; Eva Wiberg, chair of the EUTOPIA Alliance and rector of the University of Gothenburg; Oriol Amat, rector of Pompeu Fabra University, and Josep Lluís Martí, UPF commissioner for Planetary Wellbeing.
