What is pharmacy education?

Pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences education develops a competent, professionally educated pharmaceutical workforce (e.g. pharmacist practitioners, pharmaceutical scientists, pre-service students and pharmacy support workforce) for a diversity of settings (e.g. community, hospital, industry and academia), through different stages (e.g. undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing education after registration) within an appropriate academic and institutional infrastructure.

The part of FIP that coordinates all activities related to pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences education and workforce development is FIP Education (FIPEd).
