Find out more about discernment at this ONLINE workshop organised by theFCJ Young Adult Network andFCJ Centre St Hugh’s.

How can we learn to be attentive to the Holy Spirit at work in our lives? How can we make good choices which are consistent with our faith?

The series of discernment workshops will include:

  • Input and teaching on principles of discernment in the Ignatian tradition
  • Opportunity of personal reflection
  • Sharing with others
  • Questions

When:Wednesdays 19, 26 November and 3 December at 7:30pm
Where: online, by the FCJ Sisters atFCJ Centre St Hugh’s, Liverpool, England.

Camino Companions is a project from the FCJ Sisters in Europe based in the Pilgrims Office, the welcome centre for pilgrims of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. The project relies on a wide team of volunteers from all over the world. Volunteers include FCJ Sisters, FCJ Companions in Mission and pilgrims the team has met over the years. Read some of the accounts written by those who volunteered in the late part of the 2025 Camino Companions season.

The fast-paced and noisy nature of much of life seems to leave us with a desire for something deeper, calmer and more subtle. We intuitively sense that there is more to life than the surface busyness, and we long to access that which provides meaning and purpose to the outward activity. I regularly give workshops on theme of discernment; teaching some basic principles, and giving an opportunity for people to deepen their own understanding of the ways in which we can be in touch with the presence and action of God in our everyday lives, and in the decisions and choices we face....

FCJ Sisters in Indonesia, are celebrating twenty years of presence in the Archdiocese of Ende, in the island of Flores. One of the events to mark the anniversary has been a workshop to encourage people to care for the earth, our shared home. From 17th - 27th October 2025, delegates from across the FCJ Society gathered in Godalming, Surrey for the General Chapter. Prior to the meeting the delegates had entered into a time of retreat together, helping to deepen the bonds between them and form the group as a discerning body, open to the movement of God's Spirit among them.
