Notes –Remotididymellawas introduced by Valenzuela-Lopez et al. (2018) based on multi- gene phylogenetic analysis, as taxa distinct from other genera inDidymellaceae. Valenzuela-Lopez et al. (2018) introduced this genus with two species with asexual morphs and Jayasiri et al. (2019) added a new species with sexual morph.
