Lacking hyphopodia, Hyphal strands radiate from base of central, raised pycnidium over the basal layer and onto the substrate.Conidiomata wallcomposed of thick dark-brown walled cells oftextura globulosa.Conidiophoresdensely aggregated, slender, subulate, simple, frequently branched above, reduced to conidiogenous cells, or with 1–2 supporting cells.Conidiogenous cellsannellidic, simple, tapering, hyaline, smooth, rarely with percurrent proliferations.Conidiaellipsoidal, fusiform to lunate, hyaline becoming pale brown at maturity, 1-septate, punctate, smooth-walled.
