Notes –Aquastroma magniostiolatawas found in Japan on submerged twigs of a woody plant. This genus shares a close affiliation toQuintariain having multi-septate ascospores and aquatic habitat. However, they are phylogenetically not closely related. See Tanaka et al. (2015) for further details.
