Lightning failed to strike twice for Canada as Australia cruised to Commonwealth Games gold, the Boomers making good on pre-tournament favouritism with an 87-47 romp in the final. Canada stunned New Zealand with a last-second semi-final win on Saturday, but they were unable to back it up 24 hours later against the Boomers.
