The Chiefs replacedNapoleon Harris, cut Tuesday, with another veteran linebacker.
The Chiefs signedRocky Boiman on Wednesday morning. Boiman has 19 career starts in his six-year NFL career. He spent his first four seasons with Tennessee and his last two in Indianapolis. Boiman played for Kansas City defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham in Tennessee.
Boiman was released by Philadelphia in training camp this summer.
He is expected to add depth and potentially play special teams in Kansas City.
