The team waived 17 players, terminated one veteran, placed three on reserve/injured and placed veteran linebacker Curry on reserve/physically unable to perform due to a knee injury. Curry is eligible to return to practice as early as Oct. 16, the day after the conclusion of the NFL's sixth weekend. Once he returns to practice, he will be allowed to practice for up to 21 days prior to returning to the active roster.
In other moves Friday, the team waived LBKaelin Burnett, KEddy Carmona, WRDerek Carrier, WRBrandon Carswell, DEHall Davis, TEKyle Efaw, DLDominique Hamilton, OLKevin Haslam, OLNick Howell, LBChad Kilgore, OLDan Knapp, WREddie McGee, CColin Miller, RBLonyae Miller, WRTravionte Session, LBNathan Stupar and SCurtis Taylor.
Three players were placed on injured reserve: SBrandon Underwood (hip/groin), TETory Humphrey (hamstring) and PMarquette King (toe).
The team terminated the contract of WRRoscoe Parrish.
