The entrance to the Abyss. The ruins fallen in to the giant pit whispers unrecognizable words.

Description
The demonic energy of the Abyss overflows. They feel like they're heading to their graves but cannot stop. If Ran is not stopped now, there will be no next time.

Solo Mode

Main Article:Raid Solo Mode

  • Up to 4 players can enter, requiring a minimum of at least 3 people. (Normal)
    • 2~4 players. (Story)
  • Only three Resurrection Stones can be used to revive.
  • Players are given a 15 second penalty before they can resurrect themselves.
  • Bosses can only be frozen or petrified 3 times each (every hit is 1 count) at a time. When this limit is exceeded, they become invulnerable to that debuff for 60 seconds.
    • Freezing or petrifying can be attempted again after 30 seconds, but you will not be able to chain it further. This also resets the 3-step chain's cooldown to 60 seconds.

Phase Gimmick

Abyssal Altars - Four objects located in the corners of the stage. Their attacks will inflict various debuffs on players.

  • Toggle: Players can activate or deactivate altars by simply hitting them with normal attacks (Commands/Active Skills/Pet/Proc Effects). When active, altars will performOrb Release. Active altars will have their gauge reduced over time, inactive altars will recover the gauge instead.
  • Orb Release: Altars fire numerous Abyss energy infused orbs. When a player is hit, one stack of a debuff unique to each altar will be applied.

  • Berserk: When the gauge reaches 100%, the altar will perform uncontrollable massOrb Release and lower its own gauge over time. When the Berserk state ends at 0%, the altar will be deactivated. (Fanatic Light can still increase the gauge and prolong the Berserk state)

Note:

  • It is best to immediately activate altars that do not provide detrimental effects to your party (such as Attack Power Decrease and HP Decrease) in order to keep their gauge percentage low early on.
  • You should never let the altars goBerserk.
  • It is recommended to let the healer/tank deal with theFanatic Light pattern, as the attack can get insanely strong. In some cases, taking turns with another party member might work as well. Also, re-entering the beam's range will make you and your allies get hit again, avoid doing so.

Boss AttacksTips
  • Chain Strike: Perform an attack imbued with Abyss magic that hits enemies in front multiple times, stops them for a short while and launches them. Even if you are in the Super Armor status, you will still get pushed (without being knocked down).
  • Abyss Swamp: Spawn a sticky swamp in a random spot on the map. Players that come in contact with it will be continuously damaged and have their cooldown speed decreased by 40% through Enemy DebuffAbyss SwampEnemy DebuffAbyss Swamp. Step on the swamp to slowly deactivate it. If left unhandled, it will heal the boss.
  • Currently active Cooldown Acceleration effects will increase the effectiveness ofAbyss Swamp.
  • Abyssal Incense: Spawn an invincible incense that burns HP and 30 MP per second.
  • You can avoid this effect by turning back from the incense. It will disappear after some time.
  • Fanatic Light: The Abyss Worshiper will warp to the center of the map and attempt to imbue energy into one of theAbyssal Altars through a laser beam, rapidly charging their gauge. Players can block the connection by overlapping with the laser that deals continuous damage. Those who are hit will receive Enemy DebuffFanatic LightEnemy DebuffFanatic Light, increasing damage taken from the attack by 10% per stack. When the boss is below 150x HP, they will fire two lasers.
  • Solo Mode Variation:
    • The boss will still fire only 1 laser even below 150x HP.
  • Rope of Confession: The ultimate attack. Summon a deadly jump rope on the middle platform surrounded with Abyssal Aura. Anyone who touches the aura will be immediately teleported to the middle. After some time, the jump rope will start moving and deal damage when it reaches the front view. Players must jump in time to avoid it. During the pattern, all players will have their resource recovery efficiency set to 0%.
    •  Enemy DebuffAbyssEnemy DebuffAbyss: For the duration of the pattern, you are being devoured by Abyss and cannot use any type of Resurrection effects.
  • Teleport: Teleports to an enemy across the map.
  • It is recommended to stay in more or less the same spot as your party members in order to avoid the boss teleporting through the map.

Phase Gimmick

Abyssal Doors

During the boss fight, a mysterious door appears on the battlefield. Players must pass the stage hidden behind the door to prevent the boss from healing. Two kinds of doors can be spawned. When the boss reaches 150 bars, two kinds will be spawned at once, but only one needs to be cleared to pass the pattern.

  • When the stage is cleared, players must immediately move onto the boss stage, otherwise they will be executed.

Abyssal Door (Blue) - A portal to another dimension where players must heal the Abyssal Altar in order to destroy it.

  • The altar will be healed if hit. Healing skills will also increase the rate of healing.
  • Characters who can heal are recommended to enter this door.
  • Solo Mode Variation:
    • Blue doors will be mechanically indistinct from purple doors, simply requiring theAbyssal Atlars be destroyed.

Abyssal Door (Purple) - A portal to another dimension where players must destroy three kinds ofAbyssal Altars.

  • Orb Release: Periodically fire multiple orbs that apply Enemy DebuffShortness of BreathEnemy DebuffShortness of Breath per hit.
  • The altars can be debuffed, which can be helpful to deal with their high defense.

Abyss Fanatic
The high authority of the mysterious Abyss worshiping servants. A monstrous creature with a spider like body.
Boss AttacksTips
  • Ambush: Perform a spider leg strike in front, pushing and launching party members on the way.
  • Even if you are in the Super Armor status, you will still get pushed (without being knocked down).
  • Sticky Spider Web: Attach a mark to a random player through Enemy DebuffSticky Spider WebEnemy DebuffSticky Spider Web. After a while, spawn an Abyssal spider web on the player that will continuously heal the boss in range.
  • Sticky Spider Web will occasionally desync, causing an immediate explosion. This explosion will not heal the boss, unless it happened on the host's side. (The normal pattern still happens)
  • Unknown Mark: Target one random player through Enemy DebuffUnknown MarkEnemy DebuffUnknown Mark and send out a homing missile after them. If the missile comes in contact with the marked individual, it deals a lot of damage to everyone in range, while also inflicting Enemy DebuffSilenceEnemy DebuffSilence.
  • Unknown Mark only deals one hit of normal damage, so death by that can also be avoided, for example with high Damage Reduction effects likeBlanket Authority. The missile can also be stopped in place by simply facing towards it.
  • Crush: Jump high up to then descend, dealing a lot of damage to players in range.
  • Even if you are in the Super Armor status, you will still get pushed (without being knocked down).
  • Will only be performed if a party member is away from the boss.
  • Spider Web Explosion: The first ultimate attack. Summon a gigantic spider web divided into four sections. The web will sequentially light up the parts where it will later explode. Players must memorize the pattern and then repeat it to avoid getting killed. Every time this move is performed, the number of explosions will increase exponentially. (Max. 8 times)
  • Overlapping with theSpider Web Explosions is deadly, but it can be avoided with Resurrection effects and skills.
  • TheSpider Web Explosion sections can only light up in a 180° radius.
  • Blackout: The second ultimate attack. All party members are inflicted with Enemy DebuffAbyss DarknessEnemy DebuffAbyss Darkness for 90 seconds. Each of them gets their viewport drastically limited to a small circular area around their character and they cannot use in-game UIs.
  • Players must find and defeat Abyssal Incense spawned across the map.
  • If a Special Active skill other than Active/Hyper Active/Master skill is used, the boss willAssault that person and anyone else in range.
  • If the party does not make it in time, everyone gets killed and the dungeon fails.
  • Try to stay away from the boss duringBlackout in case someone accidentally casts a non-Active skill.
  •  Enemy DebuffAbyssEnemy DebuffAbyss: For the duration of the pattern, you are being devoured by Abyss and cannot use any type of Resurrection effects.
  • Abyssal Incense duringBlackout can be debuffed. (Keep in mind that it can't be hit byWind Orbs due to the item dealing special attack damage.)
  • Right beforeBlackout happens, you can use a skill with a full map range (such asMärchen) to wipe out all incense and clear the pattern. This will not cause any punishment.
  • Possible bug: for some reason, in case of failure duringBlackout, one can useElrian Clock in air to avoid the instant death. The boss might also spawnAbyssal Door that you cannot enter, granting it a heal.
