Canon 50D: Still Paying the Bills and Impressing Clients—Proof Inside! 📸💰

Thought I'd share a recent client photo I took using my trusty Canon 50D paired with the Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 lens. Yes, that 50D—released in 2008, and I’ve owned it since then! The tech world moves fast, but this camera still delivers shots my clients are thrilled with (and that make it worth every click)!

If you're like me, it’s easy to feel the pressure to “upgrade or fall behind.” But here’s the truth: you don’t always need the latest gear to compete or get client-ready results. Curious to hear from the group:

  • Who else here uses “outdated” gear to produce shots that make clients (and your wallet!) happy?
  • Have you ever felt like the only one not chasing the latest model?

Let’s celebrate our veteran gear!
