In 2013, Switzerland hosted the12th International Conference of Diplomatic Document Editors, which took place in Geneva in 2013. The International Network of Diplomatic Document Editors was founded in 1988. Delegations from different parts of the world met for the first time in London in 1989. Since then, meetings have been held every two years in Ottawa, Rome, Bonn, Washington, Canberra, Paris and Dublin. This was the first time the conference had been held in Switzerland.Read more

On special occasions, the Dodis research centre commemorated the respective research year with a special thematic focus. Using numerous documents from the online database Dodis, the inauguration of the Gotthard Base Tunnel, the Russian Revolution and the founding of the League of Nations were highlighted, among other things.
