Sidney Crosby is a two-time Emmy winner.

The Mid-Atlantic regional chapter of the Emmy Awardsannounced the recipients for its 2020 awards this weekend, and the video "Merci Sidney" that followed Crosby home to Rimouski for his QMJHL jersey retirement ceremony won in the category of "Sports - One-time special."

Crosby is credited as a producer on the video. Penguins staffersAndrew McIntyre, Leo McCafferty, andRyan Mill also won Emmys for their roles in the production.

Crosby and the Penguins previously won an Emmy in 2016 for the video “There’s no Place like Home with Sidney Crosby," in which Crosby was credited as the talent:

Several other Penguins productions won Emmys this year.Matt Cullen's retirement announcement, "Matt Cullen: My Story," won in the "Sports - Feature/Segment" category:

The Penguins' in-arena video open from this season won two awards, one in the category "Promotion - News, program, PSA - Single spot", and another in graphic arts and animation:

AT&T SportsNet also won two awards this year. The Penguins' pregame show won in the "Sports program - Live" category, andSteve Blass' final Pirates broadcast won in the "Sporting event/game" category.
