Sidney Crosby is a two-time Emmy winner.

The Mid-Atlantic regional chapter of the Emmy Awardsannounced the recipients for its 2020 awards this weekend, and the video "Merci Sidney" that followed Crosby home to Rimouski for his QMJHL jersey retirement ceremony won in the category of "Sports - One-time special."

Crosby is credited as a producer on the video. Penguins staffersAndrew McIntyre, Leo McCafferty, andRyan Mill also won Emmys for their roles in the production.

Crosby and the Penguins previously won an Emmy in 2016 for the video “There’s no Place like Home with Sidney Crosby," in which Crosby was credited as the talent:
