-The Beatles - Introducing The Beatles andThe Beatles - Introducing The Beatles (Mono Versions)
-The Beatles - Introducing... The Beatles andThe Beatles - Introducing The Beatles (Stereo Versions)
For the US releases, here's a guide to distinguish genuine releases from counterfeits:
(The US variations submitted so far can be foundhere)
Deadsure Method:
☞ If title and artist are separated on the label by the spindle hole, it's a counterfeit.
☞ If it is stereo and has ''Love Me Do'' on the back cover, it's most likely a counterfeit. (See additional "HONEY" test below.)
☞ If ''stereo'' appears only on the cover and not on the label, it's a counterfeit.
☞ If the record claims to be in stereo, but plays mono, it's a counterfeit.
☞ If the label is all black/silver and has a large brackets logo, it's a counterfeit.
☞ The runout etching on almost all genuine copies should contain at least one of the following:
''Audio Matrix''
''MR'' in a circle
''ARP'' in italics
***************************************
Easy Method By Cover:
☞ If George casts no shadow, it's a counterfeit.
☞ If the background contains no gradient and the colors seem off, it's a counterfeit.
☞ If the cover has a brown border, it's a counterfeit.
☞ If the front cover does not wrap around completely underneath the back cover slick, it's a counterfeit.
☞ If the back cover print is blurry in whatever way, it's a counterfeit.
☞ If printer marks (colored dots) are visible on the top of the back cover, it's a counterfeit.
☞ If the ''H'' and/or "E" of ''Honey'' in "A TASTE OF HONEY" on the back cover shows a printing deficit, it's a counterfeit.
*******************************************************
Easy Method By Label:
☞ If title and artist are separated on the label by the spindle hole, it's a counterfeit.
☞ If the label has a flat textured rainbow/colorband design, it's a counterfeit.
☞ If the dead wax after the last track is wider than an inch, it's a counterfeit
☞ If the label is all black and on glossy paper, it's a counterfeit.
☞ Any significant loss of color in the rainbow on the label (especially green) indicates a counterfeit.
There are 37 variations of the genuine pressing (including both mono and stereo) known.

- This is proof that digital remasters don't always mean inferior sound. This record sounds powerful as hell, and with the except somewhat of the title track, every track sounds dynamic and loud as it needs to be. These pressings are much easier to find than other mono pressings, and with the quality abound here, it's definitely not a bad option in the slightest
- Can anyone confirm that there was definitely an early 80s recut on Side 2 as is shown above (XEX 422-3)? I've only ever seen the 1965 -2N matrix on Side 2. Even the 1982 Mono Collection box set listings show -2N for Side 2, and I thought those consisted of the latest pressings from this run.

If you find one of these out in the wilds, pick it up. It's one of the better 2009 CD remasters, it reveals a lot of detail normally buried on vinyl with just enough of the bottom end revealed to give it some warmth without being too boomy. The package is excellent too.- i need a beatles specialist.. ive browsed for hours and you would think this release page would be better organised.....different versions like black and gold , and gold and black..lol.. my mother gave me her copy which she bought in the late 60s so its genuine.
- What a fantastic record. Although this is digitally sourced, it sounds just as authentic as the analogue records. Although the CD was known for being too bright with not enough bass or mids, the vinyl cut from the same source sounds warm on my system, with a clarity of Paul’s bass that is rich. Wally was truely such a master at his craft, I have another C1 reissue (rubber soul) and I can confirm that it too sounds very nice. These pressings are definitely worth it if you see one.
- Please Please Me in all it's glory. This is the copy you want. It sounds just like the fab 4 are playing a concert in your living room..
- Just found a copy of this. The matrix includes the YEX and the PCSJ catalogue numbers plus on side one the word ‘export’ and finally the name Brian. The entire run out on both sides is etched.
- I love mine, but the sound on the title track Please Please Me sounds terrible. Feels supper muffled like the mixing is all wack. Anyone else have notice this? Or could it just be my copy?
