It's here and its a corker. Sounds a lot better than Weekend in the city. I paid quite a bit for an OG press a few months ago which I now regret. Oh well!

Had an email from the band saying the resissues are now late and due 19th July so unsure how people have it already! Read the other comments and gutted Flux and other B sides from this album are omitted from both releases. Why advertise it then not include it. Quality control / band not involved in the final product.

I'm very grateful that they rereleased this LP, even after they said it would be very unlikely. The only bad thing is that it doesn't include any of the bonus tracks that they said would be included when announced. Better than nothing.

Compressed and digital as hell but one of the few that has it i actually like a lot. Maybe because it's just better mastered than the CD/stream release.
It is not great, bass is a little bit muddy/boomy at times, highs sometimes a bit harsh, but midrange is good. The amazing drums are recorded and mixed very well. The record overall sounds very punchy. Most of all, the stereo separation is actually very, very good, that helps.
Bought this record in a dusty second hand store for 15€ a few years ago :)

Good album. Pressing is fine, not amazing. I’ve had this one for a while and I see it’s worth dumb money now. Don’t do it :)

Anyone got any info on how this pressing sounds? Wondering if its worth extra money for the standard black pressing or if this version would suffice

a curious affair this album. some real stinkers on here with some decent stuff but sequenced badly. for instance, if they'd held off for a few months and added the bonus material properly they could have had these 10 tracks in this running order, and for my money it would have been much more successful; your visits are getting shorter, trojan horse, better than heaven, mercury, signs, once more chance, one month off, talons, letter to my son, ion square.

10th anniversary passed and nothing was done for the album. Shame. At least Silent Alarm got a UK repress 2 years ago.
