Drake: "I'm really excited to start working on new music"
Drake has said that he is looking forward to starting work on his next record.
The'HYFR' rapper will head back to the studio next month to begin the follow-up to his sophomore albumTake Care, released in 2011.
In an interview withMTV News, Drake revealed that he is "excited" about not only penning new tracks of his own, but about collaborations with several other artists.
"I'm really excited to start working on new music. I start like June 18," he said.
"I got a studio bus out here so me and 40 started working on a couple joints the other night. Just getting warmed up. I did like the 'Amen' track for Meek [Mill] and I did 'No Lie' for 2 Chainz."
Drake added: "I'm on French Montana's single; me, him, [Rick Ross] and [Lil Wayne], which is a crazy lineup. And then on Justin Bieber's record. I wrote a song for him as well."
He recently promised that his third album will behis most "exciting" project to date.
