How we have been making progress tochampion inclusion and diversity

At Diageo, we continuously strive to ensure we are always championing inclusion and diversity. We’ve taken strides to invest in our inclusive culture through awareness raising, employee celebrations in partnership with our Business and Employee Resource Group, and progressive policies and guidelines.

Hear from our leaders about how they feel Diageo continues to champion diversity and inclusion, from a sense of belonging, to always understanding and appreciating the differences in people.

Celebrate and be celebrated

Our purpose is to celebrate life, every day, everywhere. And creating an inclusive culture, where everyone feels valued and that they can belong, is a crucial part of this.

Our people are critical to our success, and we’re committed to creating an environment where you can thrive, experiment, make bold choices and learn. An environment where your growth and contributions are valued, and where you’re celebrated for what makes you unique, supporting you as you make your mark and create a career worth celebrating.

Join us, and you'll be part of an organisation that embraces inclusion and diversity in the broadest possible sense. You'll be part of — and help build — an inclusive culture that celebrates people of different gender, ethnicity, ability, age, sexual orientation, social class, educational backgrounds, experiences, mindsets, and more. And you'll help us champion inclusion and diversity across our entire business: with our employees, our suppliers, across our brands, and within the communities in which we operate.

Policies and practices that support our inclusive culture

Our market-leading policies and practices are shaped by and for our people; we work with ourERGs and BRGs to embed and scale our existing policies and guidelines. Whilst these vary across our business and geographies we operate in, they help us to foster an inclusive environment, supporting varying stages of our people’s lives and individual circumstances and needs.

These groups are created by our people, for our people. They give you the chance to spark and engage in conversations around various important topics whilst offering you support and a sense of belonging in the workplace.

Spirit of Progress

Unlock abrighter tomorrow

We've set bold goals as part of our Spirit of Progress action plan — a 10-year plan for creating a more inclusive and sustainable world. And whatever role you may have at Diageo, you’ll play an essential role in helping us achieve them.
